Seemed as if FMA had higher than usual representation from these organizations. Anyone got experience in working for them? Are they really "just like academia" - have research requirements, etc?
How easy to transition back to academia after a couple of years in them?
How painful is the political influence in the jobs?
What are colleagues like - seemed as if most of the people representing these were international students which I found encouraging, as I thought that these orgs didn't do "non green card" and didn't sponsor.
Any info appreciated.
