Hi, former portfolio manager here, retired now and doing my PhD in finance.
I found a WFA paper that covers an area of my expertise. It's an obscure field. The authors completely misinterprets a robustness check and it destroys the results of the entire paper.
Should I let the authors know about this before the WFA? Or should I let them know during the Q&A session?
