I have two papers using the same identification strategy but asking two very different questions. One is co-authored and another single-authored. Is it ok to submit both papers to the same conference? I don't see any info on it on the website of the conference or call for papers. But what is the implicit convention here? Please share your opinion if you have had similar experience in the past.
