Economist on "I hate teaching and the research publication process yet I'm a tenure track AP"

I hate everything about my work except the flexibility with my time. I'm not sure it's worth it anymore. It's kinda like hiding away. I could do a lot more with my talents elsewhere probably, but I worry about spending too much time on work.
